Hey everyone! This is Michelle here, the new gal on the editors' block. And Yipee-doo-dah, our weekly shopping guide is back! Apologies to those who have been waiting anxiously for it (life does sweep us away sometimes), BUT to make up for it, here's a bumper issue with 12 hot picks instead of the usual 9. The theme here is RED, not only for the joyous Chinese New Year mood that we are in, but also for the romance that's in the air......V-Day is just round the corner! This new feature on Etsy that allows you to shop local and have items reach you in time for Christmas. It is also a great way to filter out Singapore sellers from the large number of Etsy sellers. Do check it out.

While jewelry dominate in the Singapore Etsy stores, you got to admit that we all complement each other. Gift giving is a 'package' thing, so do remember to check out other items such as handmade cards and bags. Present your items beautifully and you add immensely to their value.

This week's selection features an assortment of jewelry, crocheted items and cards. Mix and match for your recipients or consider getting them for yourself. You do need a little pampering too!

Also consider getting crocheted items as gifts! Either the patterns to keep idle hands occupied over the holiday or a ready made item. And don't forget, even our playthings need accessories too!

By the way, if you are from US, do remember that the 'deadline' to ship early enough for Christmas is looping up ahead. If you are from Singapore or the region, the deadline's close but not that close. So hurry and get all your purchases in order.
