All good things must come to an end

I regret to inform that this blog will be no longer. Due to increase in work load and time constraints, we will not be able to continue. All blog posts are accurate as of today, and we will no longer be adding any data to it.

The Singapore Etsy team will just have a Yahoo group for discussions. To join, simply follow the instructions here.

Thank you for your support the past few months. We appreciate it!

While the Singapore Etsy team may be dominated by jewellery sellers, you really must know that we can really do more than that! We have talented individuals who knit, crochet, sew, draw and paint, and this week, we showcase some of them.

See, you really have got to spend time browsing through our stores to learn more about us. Think of us as an online market, with hidden treasures.

artfaerie featured on Cuteable and Capitola Girl

Her design style is uniquely modern, bright and cheerful. Her eye for color is also impeccable. I think Agnes' creativity is quite amazing, and her jewelry designs consistently put a smile on my face.
Our very own artfaerie was featured on both Cuteable and Capitola Girl. Good job on the feature! Check out the write ups here and here.

Hello people! This week's shopping guide has no particular theme, just choosing based on my whims and fancies (hah! that's the privilege of being the writer). But I think I must be subconciously thinking about the vibrant colours of summer, coz everything here is so bright and happy.

Have a happy week!

KQcreative & Melbangel featured in Crochet Animals

Kim Yeoh of kim0511, and Amy Lim of melbangel are featured in a publication 'Crochet Animals' by Annie Obaachan.

Just a small note that Kim's data is misprinted on another crafter's column. Her creation is shown on the left bottom (the little rabbit).

Even though we here in Singapore do not experience the four seasons, its easy to get caught up in the love affair with spring. As you well know, spring is officially here! And to commemorate it, here's a guide full of green coloured products.

Going green is in this season. :)

Have fun shopping!

saplanet Featured in Craftzine

SimpleArtsPlanet created this playful crocheted Rapunzel and her cute yarny prince. She looks kinda chipper for someone trapped in a tower, no? Check out SimpleArtsPlanet's Flickr for more photos of her fairytale-inspired crochet. Rapunzel Amigurumi

Almond Tree featured in Indie Galore

These pieces are from AlmondTree, a jewelry maker based in Singapore.

If you’re a fan of wire work or soldered pieces, this is the place for you. There are all kinds of different pendants and earrings using both techniques. Stained glass or brightly colored glass cabochons are often featured with the wire and soldered pieces. And some of the airy wire work is nice (like in the black pendant above), giving pieces an added dimension.

Sparklethots featured by Fashio Nation

Sparkle Thots offer a very different take on jewelry customization as compared to other LiveJournal jewelry sellers. As opposed to targeting the teens/young adults market, the designer Ruth makes jewelry that is suitable for young children as well.

Hiya pple! Michelle here, back from 2 weeks of really bad flu (and coughing away still urgh!). Feeling a bit down and blue, so it's all reflected in this week's shopping guide, which is all about BLUE! But hey, blue may not be my favourite moods but it's certainly one of my favourite and most soothing colours, so these really perk me up! There are really too many blue-themed items to be shown here, so do remember to click on the list of our members' etsy stores on your right and enjoy more wonderful blue items galore!
