Wagashi (和菓子?) is a traditional Japanese confectionery which is often served with tea, especially the types made of mochi, azuki bean paste, and fruits.So, your doll has a Japanese friend who was thoughtful enough to bring a gift of a box of these traditional japanese treats!
This beautiful 1:12 scale dollhouse miniature collectible is made of polymer clay, and the wooden box is also handmade by me out of basswood, then varnished with a clear wooden acrylic varnish.
The last picture depicts the other variants of this box/treat, also available in my etsy store :)
